A one-day Ephesus tour from Istanbul is an exciting and efficient way to explore one of Turkey’s most important archaeological and Biblical sites. Around 03:30 – 04:00 AM, our team will pick you up from your centrally located Istanbul hotel (Sultanahmet or Taksim area) and transfer you to the airport for your domestic flight to İzmir.
After completing self check-in using the flight details provided after booking, you will take a morning flight to İzmir.
Upon arrival at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport, our local team will meet you at the exit gate of the domestic terminal. You will then enjoy an approximately 1-hour scenic transfer to the Ephesus region, where you will meet your licensed professional tour guide and begin your unforgettable journey.
Your first stop is the peaceful House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be the final residence of the Virgin Mary. The site was identified in the 19th century following the visions of Anne Catherine Emmerich and later discovered by Lazarist priests.

Next, visit the Basilica of Saint John in Selçuk. Built in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian I over what is believed to be the tomb of Saint John the Apostle, the basilica remains one of the region’s most important Christian landmarks despite damage caused by earthquakes in the 14th century.
According to your return flight schedule, you will be transferred back to İzmir Airport for your evening flight to Istanbul.
